Everyday Make Up #1

Saturday, 22 November 2014

I'm one to change my make up most of the time, because I like to experiment and change things up a little bit. However, I have been wearing this exact same look several times which is rare in my book, probably because I have also been wearing the same shirt and also because I kind of like the matchy-but-not-really-look I get from the blush-highlighter-lip gloss trio.
As you can see, everything is super well loved, except for the highlighter which I bought just a month ago at Target, and the powder which is actually a back up I have, the one I actually use is of the same product but it's crushed and definitely not presentable. Also, I only use ONE brush for this look! Isn't that great? No excessive dirty brushes! The duo fibre brush is for foundation, powder, blush and highlight, everything else is used by fingers.

 Sigma Duo Fibre F-50 brush
Bourjois Healthy Mix foundation in 53 Vanille
Rimmel Wake Me Up concealer
Rimmel Stay Matte powder in Transparent
Shu Uemura Hard Formula eyebrow pencil
(not in the shot, sorry!) NARS Pro Prime
Urban Decay NAKED 2 Palette in the shade Tease
Shu Uemura eyelash curler
L'Oreal Curl Impact Collagene Extreme Resist waterproof mascara
NARS powder blush in Angelika
Revlon Highlighting Palette in Rose Glow
3CE Water Gloss in Vivatic
Urban Decay De Slick setting spray

It may seem like much but when it comes to make up I tend to do everything. I have a lot of redness so I do need foundation to even out my skintone. If you don't, you can skip that and go straight to concealer. As you can see, I'm also a believer that eyebrows should look like brows. I love wearing this pencil because it somehow still looks natural. Maybe one day I'll try a pomade and be a convert, who knows, but for know I like the rugged, imperfect look of the brows. I actually filmed myself doing this look but I don't know if it's decent enough to be uploaded. I really dislike the look of the table where I had to put the products on, but we're currently living out of boxes and it's the most decent part of my room where I can shoot. Hopefully I'll do more of this in the future, maybe a more in depth look to each product.

Much love.
