Hooked On This Bright Plum Matte...

...that is MAC Flat Out Fabulous. Its popularity has been rising since online resellers started selling this--plus you can always pop a visit to a MAC counter since it's actually available in the country. So if you're on the fence about buying this or not, I think you should.

I have never been interested in buying its more popular counterpart, Ruby Woo. Something about bright red lipstick just does not give me confidence, I can never pull it off! However I fell in love with this one after the first swatch. How gorgeous does it look though, right? I mean, for real! I took it home with me a while ago not knowing if people are ever going to like this type of colour, now it's everywhere.

MAC Flat Out Fabulous is a bright plum MAC Retro Matte lipstick, so expect it to be drying. If you take good care of your lips, it shouldn't be much of a problem. I scrub my lips everyday and use Lucas Papaw every night. After a while, I can't even tell that it's there, but right after applying it sucks the moisture out of your lips. It is the mattest of matte, it is a true flat matte, so the drying part comes with it. I don't have a lot of matte lipstick, but MAC Flat Out Fabulous is so unique and flatters my skintone really well I can't resist! If you want to try bright lipstick but you don't want a red, this lipstick is great! I wore this to lunch with my best friends, with bare eyes and bright berry blush. I think it looked pretty well! It survived a heavy lunch and drinks, because mattes are long wearing, especially this one, but I did touch up on the inner parts of my lip. I have read people say that it stains, but on the contrary I can remove this pretty easily with my Bioderma.

Much love,
x
