Practk Palmat: Makeup Brush Cleaning Tool

Thursday, 30 March 2017

A few days ago (Sephora) sent me a package of a new brand they now carry, (Practk)! Practk was created by the founders of Sigma Beauty, so they're sister brands. For now, they only have one product, which is Palmat. Palmat is a makeup brush cleaning tool to help you deep clean your makeup brushes. Works for everyone who owns makeup brushes, from one to hundreds! If you have been following my blog, you would know that I have written about "3 Helpful Tools for Every Makeup Lover" and in there I mentioned Sigma Spa Express Brush Cleaning Glove. The (Practk Palmat) is basically a more affordable alternative. I do believe this is a very helpful tool and it's not going to waste away just sitting in your drawer.

Here are some things I like about Practk Palmat:
  • It's a 2-in-1 product, meaning you can wear it on the palm of your hand or place it in the sink so you can wash your brushes hands-free. It has suction cups so it won't slip and slide everywhere.
  • It is adjustable, so it fits on different sizes of hands.
  • It has 2 sides, one side is for cleaning face brushes, and the other is for eye brushes.
  • It is durable, I know I'm going to have a looot of use out of it, which makes it a good investment, especially since I have dozens of make up brushes. I honestly don't know what's going to break this thing.
  • It is simpler than my Sigma glove, each side only has 2 textures, instead of like, 7. Despite only having 2 textures, the effectiveness is not affected at all. It cleans my brushes just the same.
  • It takes way less time for me to clean my brushes than if I were to use my bare hands.
  • It does not take much space, good for traveling. If you are a traveling makeup artist, you will find this useful.
  • Last but not least, it is affordable. Way more affordable than Sigma's gloves, using the same material.

Here's how I clean my brushes:

I used to only use baby shampoo but regular shampoo works fine as well. Wet your brush, dip it into shampoo, swirl it on the WASH section on the Palmat until it's clean, rinse and REFINE. Leave it to dry! Easy peasy!

You can get this (Practk Palmat) on (Sephora Indonesia) website (here).

Much love,
x
